Participant Voices iv.

In their own words.

Unedited reflections from people who've completed studies they found through our directory.
The compensation was real, but the bigger surprise was the quality of care. I got better screening in two weeks than I'd had in two years.

Found a sleep study fifteen minutes from my house. The payout was listed before I clicked — no bait and switch.

Devon T. Sleep apnea study, Chicago · 2025
I'd dismissed clinical trials as something for the desperately ill. Turns out healthy volunteers are wanted constantly — and well paid.

Our Pledges v.

What we verify, and what we won't.

Clinical research carries real responsibility. Here is the editorial line we hold ourselves to.
i.
Every listing names a real research site

We won't publish trials without a verifiable principal investigator, sponsor, and physical research location. No anonymous middlemen, no lead-generators.

ii.
Compensation is listed in full

The dollar amount you see is the dollar amount the sponsor is offering. We don't take a cut, we don't list "up to" mystery ranges, and we don't hide the catch.

iii.
We're a directory, not a doctor

We do not provide medical advice. Every decision to enroll is yours to make with the research team and, where appropriate, your own physician.

iv.
Your search is your business

We don't sell your search history. We don't share your email with sponsors unless you explicitly apply. Privacy isn't a policy line — it's the product.

Frequently Asked vi.

Before you apply.

Real questions from real participants. Read more in our full FAQ.
i. Are these trials safe? +
Every trial in our directory is reviewed by an Institutional Review Board (IRB) — an independent ethics committee that approves the study protocol before any participant is enrolled. That said, all medical research carries some risk; the brief on each listing spells out what's involved so you can decide for yourself.
ii. How do I actually get paid? +
Compensation comes directly from the sponsoring research site, not from us. Most pay by check or direct deposit at study visits. The exact schedule — per-visit, lump sum, or staged — is listed in the trial brief.
iii. Do I need health insurance? +
Generally no. Most trials cover all study-related medical costs themselves, and many recruit healthy volunteers who simply meet age and lifestyle criteria. The eligibility section of each brief is the source of truth.
iv. Can I drop out partway through? +
Yes — informed consent means you can withdraw at any time, for any reason, without penalty. Compensation for completed visits is typically still paid; the trial brief will note any specifics.
